Trudeau Park has been in the news lately, and for most locals we understand this is a wonderful park. The incident on Victoria Day weekend was an isolated event. It just so happens that every year for as long as I can remember Trudeau Park is host to a huge party weekend for young people, (19-25) and there is lots of loud music and it is for only that weekend. We have been assured that this weekend it only families and rodeo loving campers. The square dance and the rodeo do not take place within the campgrounds. The dance is in the banquet hall which is rented every weekend for weddings pretty much all summer. It is a beautiful park and we do hope that one incident is not enough to keep someone away.
