September 9th the Quinte Twirlers started up again. It was almost like a family reunion, seeing all these people again after a long summer break.
We had members of our club and the Napanee club come out for the first dance, however, numbers were low. We still managed to have 3 full squares and a whole lot of fun.
Beginner’s night is coming up on the 16th and we are so hoping to watch our membership list grow. It would be really nice to see at least 5 squares every week.
The Napanee club started up on the 8th, we missed their first night. Just so much going on this month.
When I was young, September was good because it meant the fair was coming, but it was bad because I had to go back to school. Now at this age September is good all around; the fair is on, my kid goes back to school and we start dancing again.
